- Hollywood Burbank Airport –This 89-year-old airport may be a great choice if you’re traveling with your pet. They offer two pet relief areas, one pre-security, and one post-security, making it easy for your pet to use the bathroom.
- John Wayne Airport – Located in Orange County, this is another choice if LAX isn’t working out. With several pet relief areas, travel will be no issue in this terminal. They also provide a therapy dog program where dogs can be found roaming the terminal helping to ease traveler’s stresses while looking for head pats.
- Long Beach Airport – This award-winning facility may be a great choice to fly out of if you live in Southern California. A smaller airport that may cut down on long lines and crowds, it’s also pet-friendly. Service animals and family pets have access to pet relief areas that are located curbside of the north and south terminals.
- Ontario International Airport – One of the busiest airports besides LAX, Ontario International Airport serves around 5 million passengers yearly. Since furry friends are a part of that passenger list they have amenities available to travel with your dog. There are inside and outside pet relief areas located in 2 different terminals, along with hydration stations throughout. The airport has its very own therapy dog crew – the ONT Paw Squad. They’ll make your day and put a smile on your face with a friendly tail wag.
